Collecting the cards is a bit like collecting the Chocolate Frog cards in the Harry Potter games; you cannot do anything with them. Overall, though, I am enjo ying the game's ease of play and the way you can play for five minutes one day and mot at all for a week and it is easy to keep track where you left off.

It is also easy to collect cards and currency, but you do not actually have to buy anything. I would recommend it for girls age 8 to 12 who enjoy horses and are looking for a nonviolent game. Read full review.

Purchased for my 5 year old grand-daughter, who has loved horses ever since watching the new Flicka movie. Since this is as close as she can get to having her own, I got it for a Christmas Gift. I loaded it up on my computer to check it out. Looks like it will be a lot of fun for her, once she gets some instruction on what she needs to do, and what the object of the game is. Should keep her occupied for many hours a day, for a good long time.

At her age, just learning to read, she'll need some help getting started. But once she gets going, I can see her playing this for years to come. Seems the game is aimed for girls a few years older, but that should help keep her going with it even longer. At least with this, she doesn't have to watch out for cactus or rattlesnakes, like riding around here.

But if you are willing to wait a little bit the game is a lot of fun and well worth it.
